Will jemand bei einer grösseren Studie mitmachen? Ich versuche die Schulbehörde oder die Abtelilung für linguistik daran zu interessieren, eine Studie über die Beeinflussung der EM trahlung und die Sprache zu mahcen. Ich habe in diesem Jahr viel Neues an Sprachentglaisungen gesehen und gehört! Natürlich wäre es gut, diese Studie an mehreren Schulen durchzuführen. Hier inj genf habe ich eine Kollegin, die auch Sprachwissenschaftlerin ist und wir stellen den Antrag gemeinsam.
Weiter habe ich diesen elektronischen Brief erhalten:

I am beginning to gather research on the effects of radio frequencies and
electromagnetic fields in the learning environment and on the brain. And
YES I do see that here are many more learning and behavioural difficulties
with my students. I have been teaching for over 20 years and I do not think
that we are just getting better at diagnosing problems in the children, but
that there really are many more children who have diffiuculty forcussing and
concentrating. Here in the Kingston area, over the past 10 years there is
also a dramatic increase in the number of children with autism as well. In
my class this year, 25% of the children are reading well below level and are
having diffiuclty with math. Bright children as well, cannot sit still and
often cannot complete tasks to the best of their ability.

I tried to present the information about EMF, RF/MW to my parent community,
but the school board censured me. A concerned parent and friend presented
the information to the parents for me, but they could not believe that the
government would allow something to be put on the school that is not safe.
They did not even want to listen to how the computer lab could be made safer
so that the children would be protected from EMF while they were using the
computers.

In Canada, the citizens can be exposed to 1000 microwatts/cm2 of RF which I
believe is VERY high. What is the code in Germany?

I have just read a thesis that RF at 450 Hz affects the beta1 brain waves.
Since I am only just beginning to research (4 months of reading!) and I do
not have the means to measure the RF in the environment, I have a lot of
work to do! I belong to SWEEP (Safe Wireless Electric, Electromagnetic
Policy). I became involved in this not only because I am concerned about my
students, but because my sister-in-law got very aggressive breast cancer. I
really did not know that our environment was so polluted with e-smog until I
started looking for a reason why she got cancer. I along with everyone else
just use this technology without even thinking that it could be causing
harm.

At this time, I do not have a network of other teachers who are concerned
about this. I do have a network of friends across Canada that have concerns
about electrosensitivity, breast cancer, power transmission lines near
schools, transformers near homes and dirty electricity.

The problem that we are facing is proving that EMF RF/MW causes harm. I do
not believe that the WHO will be helpful as it is right now. This problem
has been around for many years (something I never realized until several
months ago) and there is a lot of money that is pushing this techonolgy
industry, perhaps even influencing the WHO to not make decisions that will
protect people. Here, we are going to try to present this information to the
senate and the ministry of health in Canada and begin the process to
legislate guidelines that protect people. This will probably take a long
time.

In your school setting, do you think that there is something specific (like
a cell tower, power lines) that is causing the problem for your students.
High levels of EMF can cause people to be disoriented and unable to
concentrate. Do you have a gauss meter to measure? There are things that
can be done to reduce the amount of exposure of yourself and your students.
